No, it's obvious to me that we want to use a "remote URL" and then have
Emacs internally redirect this to a local version, when available.
The purpose is to get rid of the "local only" references (such as
(info "(emacs)Top") or file:///blabla) and only use globally-valid URLs,
so as to improve the answers given by search engines like DuckDuckGo.
