Please see if you can help out with the bugs affecting the Emacs 24.4 release. See the recent bugs with severity = important. Full list: http://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/pkgreport.cgi?include=severity%3Aimportant;package=emacs The ones with a number greater than say 17000 (or maybe 16000) are the relevant ones. PS As motivation, it is now more than 6 months since the 24.4 release process started.
