Improved git commit emails [was Re: Git transition checklist]

These are the changes I would like to see in the commit emails
(decreasing order of importance):

1) get the first line of the commit message in the subject
2) remove the guff "This is an automated email...in full, below"
3) add a list of modified files somewhere near the top
4) Mail-Followup-To: committer, emacs-devel

Even just 1) would be a big help. As it stands I have to read the entire
mail to see which files got changed. Before I just had to look at the
start of the mail.

I spent some time getting the Savannah bzr setup working (obviously
wasted effort now). I won't repeat that for Git, I hope someone else will.
