Git rocks, as usual: the latter doesn't work for me on MS-Windows, I
get this:

  $ git clone git+ssh://bzr.sv.gnu.org/srv/git/emacs/elpa
  Cloning into 'elpa'...
  fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

  Please make sure you have the correct access rights
  and the repository exists.

(I do succeed to pull and push from/to the GNU Make repository on
Savannah, and also from Gawk and Gnulib, so my git setup should be
OK.)

I eventually succeeded using this URL instead:

  address@hidden:/srv/git/emacs/elpa.git

(Isn't it terribly confusing that a git repo is on a server whose name
begins with "bzr"?)
