FWIW, I agree.  Maximizing a frame is just one mouse click away, so
going to great length just to restore that is not a good idea,
especially, as Jan points out, it will not be 100% correct anyway.

Just make sure we re-create all those frames, and if they need to be
resized or moved, be it by the window manager or manually, so be it.
It will already be a great improvement from what we had before,
whereby users would have manually recreate every frame.
