    Well, that certainly didn't happen.  :-(  Sorry about failing to
reply in a timely manner.  Work crisis level went through the roof and
has stayed high since.  I was really hoping to help you guys out with
some actual patches rather than just reporting bugs this year, but it
looks like that is not going to happen at least before fall.
