And I'll say again that these problems are not universal, and that several 
people have been using the NS port heavily for years without seeing any of 
these problems.

If this video purports to show anything except that the mac port has gui 
animations added to it, then I don't see it (the gui animations themselves are 
a source of problems, as has been reported here twice).  Assuming that by 
`ugly' you mean 'lacks gui animations', I wonder if you can provide a bug 
report or video describing problems with C-g, font rendering, modifier keys, 
multiprocessing, or networking?

There was a modifier keys issue reported to the list a few days ago that only 
crops up in unusual remote desktop situations, if that's also your problem, pmr 
mentioned that he already has a fix for it.
