What are you talking about ?

Carbon is 32bit only and deprecated, the Mac port
uses Cocoa and it can be compiled as 64bit executable.

It also is very stable, has frequent updates with lots of activity,
and works way better on osx than the 'official' port which is an 
embarrassment unless you are one of the 5 people on this planet 
who run GNUstep that is.

If it wasn't for Mitsuharu's hard work and dedication, there would be
no 23.x Emacs for me and a lot of others on osx.
