I didn't mean to claim otherwise.

It will be, as RMS put it, a kludge (and a pandora's box of hassles).

It won't succeed at seamlessly integrating browser windows into Emacs
window management from a user perspective (so it fails at the goal -- i.e.,
won't work).

In all seriousness, people interested in that vision of the future
that includes things like browsing but with Emacs-style windows
might want to work not on the problem of how to embed stuff
in Emacs but on the problems of how to have multiple views
of a single web page.



You won't get some of the power you usually expect from Emacs, but then
again, you never had this power in Firefox anyway, so it's not like you
lost anything.

Certainly but RMS is right when he describes it as a kludge
and likely an endless source of problems (because when a thing
doesn't and can't ever work "quite right" there is a constant
pressure to "fix" it, no matter how many times it has been
"fixed" before).
