You might want to throttle your auto-responder that triggers whenever
someone refers to `Linux' without the GNU/ prefix.

I really MEANT the kernel.

Quoting wikipedia:

  An operating system (commonly abbreviated OS and O/S) is the software
  component of a computer system that is responsible for the management
  and coordination of activities and the sharing of the resources of the
  computer. The operating system acts as a host for application programs
  that are run on the machine.

So when I said `fully-functioning operating system' I did not mention
userspace at all.

If that nomenclature is wrong I would be glad if you could adjust the
Wikipedia article.

I hope it makes you happy when I say that I also use, study, improve
(where possible) and propagate GNU software that I use in combination
with the Linux kernel :)
