Visit library ediff.el from the current Emacs build and from Emacs
22.2, in separate frames.
M-x ediff-buffers
It finds only one diff, which contains the whole buffer. You can use
`*' to see the actual differences, but this is a PITA. You cannot
easily navigate to individual diffs or act on them.
Do the same thing using Emacs 22.2, and you will see 14 diffs, not 1.
Note that comparing (using Emacs 23) the current ediff.el with one
from a build of 2008-05-04 shows a few diffs.
Whatever the problem is, it's an unfortunate regression. It renders
ediff nearly useless.
