As far as I know, once the trunk and unicode branch are in sync (is
this true now?), unicode can just be merged to the trunk, so there'll
be no need for the unicode branch quite soon (?).

What we need to do now is merge the multi-tty changes into the
Unicode-2 branch, then install the Unicode-2 changes into the trunk.
