Re: bury-buffer no longer buries

    the just-buried buffer is still offered as other-buffer

    emacs -q
    C-x b a RET
    C-x b b RET
    C-x b c RET
    C-x b d RET
    M-x bury-buffer RET
    C-x b ....

    Expected: the default other-buffer should be "b" because "d" has just
    been buried and "b" is the most recent buffer before that.

I updated sources Oct 8 in the evening
and it works right when I try it.
