Hi,
I was looking in the Emacs TODO list today, and saw that it is a
goal to remove "iff" from doc strings.
The checkdoc program (in lisp/emacs-lisp/checkdoc.el) on line 266
puts "iff" in as a valid word for the spell checker. Removing it
would be a good start.
