No, I would not expect that.
Should we install the fix in the trunk?
The fix is not done in the best possible way. I wanted to show what could be done and also make something useful now.
But maybe it does not matter that it is not done in the best possible way since I think this will be rewritten later in the multi-tty job. The patch is reasonable and useful now IMO.
