in case it's in question, i affirm that we should count this as an
emacs change. i am happy to have pdb tracking in python.el, even more
happy since i didn't have to spend time porting it. let me know
specifically if there's anything more in the way of confirmation that
you need.

I still have a python-mode patch for pdbtrack. Have we got any further
