Indeed I find this in my config.log
You are right Jan in my config.log I found the following:
configure:10069: checking for XrmSetDatabase
configure:10126: gcc -o conftest.exe -I/usr/X11R6/include/X11 -g -O2
-I/usr/X11R6/include/X11 -L/usr/X11R6/libw conftest.c -lX11 >&5
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: cannot
find -lX11
collect2: ld returned 1

Thanks a lot for the help. When I did an "<ESC> w" to copy region I apparently
missed the <ESC> key and left a 'w' appended toe my "lib" setting in my
configuration command line.
