OK, so here is a summary of the proposed Sate Menus for variables and faces.

Variables:

Set for Current Session
Save for Future Sessions
Undo Edits
Reset to Saved
Erase Customization
Set to Backup value
--------------------------
Add Comment
--------------------------
Show Current Value
Show Saved Lisp Expression

Faces:

Set for Current Session
Save for Future Sessions
Reset to Saved
Erase Customization
------------------------
Add Comment
------------------------
Show Current Display
Show All Kinds of Displays
Show Current Lisp Expression

There is one accompanying change in the whole buffer buttons: Change
"Reset to Current" to "Undo Edits" in analogy with the State Menus.

As I already noted, it seems somewhat strange that there is no
"Undo Edits" in the Face State Menu. I believe that this could be
easy to add, if desired.

If this looks OK now, I will also update the Emacs manual and some
other places for these changes.

Sincerely,

Luc.
