Being an experienced programmer and developer may have left you with
a much better idea of what to look for and how to do it.  But I have
found consistently over the last several years that the `s' search
requires less knowledge on my part to find what I need.  Right down
to the patterns that are found in a snippet of code or the like.

If only one search method were allowed I'd opt for `s'.
