me, too.

   Does this resolve the issue?

it definitely helps.  probably hideshow would do well to copy outline
minor mode's keymap handling outright.  it seems unlikely that both
outline and hideshow minor modes would be active at the same time.
specifically, does a `C-c @' prefix bother anyone?

my mistake when making the change from completely non-comformant
keybindings (C-c LETTER) to the current system was to copy outline major
mode instead of outline minor mode.  ugh. :-/

anyway, i would like to make this change in the near future and before
next public release.  my reasoning is it is better to bring keybindings
into conformance sooner than later before users develop bad finger
habits (i.e., same as mine ;-).  please, if not now, let me know when is
a good time and why.  once this is all decided, the issue is resolved.
