I use gulim font for korean-ksc5601 charset -- in my X resource file, i
have:

Emacs.font:-*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-gulim
Emacs*Fontset-0:-*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-gulim, \
ascii:-adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--14-140-75-75-m-90-iso8859-1, \
korean-ksc5601:-baekmuk-gulim-medium-r-normal--12-120-75-75-m-120-ksc5601.1987-0
[and so on...]

or i use a little bit larger one like :
-baekmuk-gulim-medium-r-normal--14-140-75-75-m-140-ksc5601.1987-0

anyway, the thing is after starting emacs
M-x describe-fontset RET fontset-gulim RET
shows me the following
Fontset: -*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-gulim
CHARSET or CHAR RANGE FONT NAME
--------------------- ---------
ascii
-adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--14-140-75-75-m-90-iso8859-1
[lots of line deleted]
korean-ksc5601 -baekmuk-gulim-*-ksc5601.1987-0
[lots of line deleted]

meaning that emacs is not listening to me.
moreover, what emacs shows me is completely different font -- the most ugly
font. it used to be working until emacs-20.6 and this font also works with
xemacs. does anybody have any clue?
