Bug in directory listing display |

Hello,
On a recent install of Ubuntu I discovered a new bug in 'ls' which I understand you guys maintain.
Items with spaces are incorrectly listed surrounded by single quotes. This is problematic for a number of reasons. One of which is that files or directories that contain a mix of quotes in their titles are now displayed incorrectly. This bug also breaks existing scripts all over the place.
Please resolve this bug on the next release.

We created a summary of common issues and FAQs
