User-agent: |
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/45.8.0 |
Steps to reproduce
============
1. Go to
https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/manual/html_node/origin-Reference.html.
2. Locate the "patches" field description.
Unexpected situation
=============
The value for the "patches" field is described as a list of file names.
Expected situation
===========
The value for the "patches" field is described as a list of objects that
can be "lowered". For example, file name strings, <origin> objects, ??? ¹
If appropriate, a link to the meaning of "lowered" should be provided.
Notes
====
1. IRC chat about the value of "origin-patches"
https://gnunet.org/bot/log/guix/2017-05-31#T1405402.
