On a i386-pc-solaris2.7 system, mktemp goes into an infinite loop.
The wrapper function definition for gettimeofday() is broken, so
the function keeps calling itself.

This was resolved via this gnulib change:
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnulib.git/commit/?id=d236ccb95d1ebe92
so it'll be fixed in the next coreutils release.
