--- Begin Message --- Subject: Menu bar items non-functional Date: Thu, 12 Nov 2009 17:31:52 -0500 Upon changing to a major mode which adds extra menu items to the menu bar accross the top of the window, these items are added but have no functionality.  In particular, when clicking on them a very small menu drops down as expected.  However, this menu is empty and only a very short height.  This is only for entries added by a major mode (including AuCTeX and GNUS) for me.  The standard EMACS menu items: File, Edit, ...,Help are all functional.  As I write this in Mail mode, the 'Headers' and 'Mail' menu items are non-functional.

Hi,

could someone please reopen bug #6499? IMHO this hasn't been fixed yet. I just
tried trunk r100830 and Jan's patch from the emacs-23 branch has made it into
the trunk, causing the following side-effect:

The patch is not in trunk, 100830 fixed 6645. It is not in trunk 100831 either.

Please learn to use bzr log. It tells you which bugs have been fixed.

        Jan D.
