FYI - the Pioneer DVR-105 and the Sony-whatever that do 4X DVD are out.
I'm thinking of selling my DVR-104 2X burner for $200 so I can step up.

My DVR-104 works under Linux, but I've been to lazy (busy) to complete my
dualboot configuration.
I'm just hanging out here because I'm interested in watching this project grow,
and I know eventually I'll get the whole thing setup under Linux (if
IFOEDIT.exe worked under WINE/Linux I'd get my butt in gear sooner).
