Follow-up Comment #4, patch #6701 (project duplicity):

No, this will still make two huge blobs that will stress system memory when a
large collection is listed.  The solution needs to be to use Log to output one
line at a time, not the entire collection at once.  Perhaps use header and
trailer lines to mark the beginning and end of the list if you need them.
