For now, there is no default exclude list.  You'll need to exclude /root/.cache, /proc, and /dev if you want to backup from '/'.

Note, backing up from '/' is not recommended since it backs up the system files that can be obtained from an install DVD.

I'm wondering that my backup size is constantly increasing but I'm not
expecting this. I've found loads of old sigtar files in that cache
directory. If they were added to each full backup, I'd know where the
data volume came from.
