It should.  And the file should be recoverable.

Listing does not work, since cleanup deleted the signatures (which are
used for the list):


Makes sense.  At least you got the file.


Update to 0.6.06+ and cleanup should keep the metadata, except you use 
--extra-clean. Which version do you use?
