man page http://duplicity.nongnu.org/duplicity.1.html#sect6 states rsync://user[:address@hidden:port]::/module/some_dir as url format .. maybe your missing some colons regards ede -- Hi! I'm using duplicity in a backup script with the rsync backend. I've specified both the username and password in the URL given to duplicity, but it still prompts me for a password. This is the command that I'm using: duplicity --full-if-older-than 2M --no-encryption /etc rsync://username:address@hidden//backup/etc What am I missing? I'm using duplicity 0.5.09, which is what came with my distribution (Ubuntu 9.04). / manydnah |
