This could come in handy even for those of us that use cron. If the
full backup fails and goes unnoticed, this will pickup the slack and
make a full backup instead of the next incremental.
For example, I normally do a full backup on Sunday morning, then
incrementals Mon-Fri. If the full backup failed on Sunday, then this
would pick up the slack Monday morning, or at least try to.
Combine this with --remove-older-than, and you have an intervention-free
backup system, at least better than we did.
Thanks for the patch. I'll test some and get it out in RC3.
