[Duplicity-talk] Amazon S3

Duplicity’s page states that it supports Amazon S3.  Does it support bandwidth efficient block level copies to S3?  I’ve tried rsync but the only way I’ve been able to do it is map a drive and then it does the whole file because the rsync algorithm only applies from the local drive to the mapped drive, not for the communication from the mapped drive to the server.
