The second "test" (after the &&) was added. The original problem was
that configure was attempting to run the expanded value of
"x$FREETYPE_CONFIG" instead of performing the string comparison; that
should no longer be the case. For future reference, you can use the web
cvs browser on savannah (the "Browse Sources Repository" link on the
project page) to compare revisions (click on the file name to get
details on all revisions of a particular file).
