Thanks, the binaries were directly from the windows installer, and yes the
shell was gnustep. I am not sufficiently advanced to know what "plparse" or
"defaults read" are, but if I just type them in I get "command not found"
and nothing for the other.   I wondered if this was a windows 10 thing.

Which binaries did you install? where from? You are using the "gnustep" 
shell, right? e.g. you can type "plparse" or "defaults read" and it will
exist, execute and work?

I fear that ProjectCenter and Gorm were not compiled against the same 
version of gnustep and mingw libraries you are running them against.
Did you try SystemPreferences?
Sadly, there are no other apps to test... ready packaged that is.

Adam, what's your stake ? I think you did them.
