forget i've mentioned anything. my outburst comes from years of listening to inane arguments coming out of this man's mouth for years.

The reason I am answering is because I know him personally. He is amongst the handful people who actively *do* something to develop GNUstep. To be honest, I have never actively recognized your name here on this list or seen a contribution from you. While he is one of the most active.

That does not mean that I do agree with all ideas and even long term goals, but that is what this list is for: discussion, finding pros and cons and solutions that try cover different needs.

Bad answer:

Okay, that's it, I've had enough of you.

I use it. You remove it, and I will choke you. I've sat back, and watched your stance on virtually everything over the last several years, and quite frankly, I am tired of your self centered viewpoint,

and for fuck's sake, get some hardware made this century.

Good answer would have been:

I deeply understand that you don't want to spend your unpaid, volunteer time on features nobody is using. But I am heavily using this feature for several years  and maybe others. So, I frankly volunteer to keep these parts from bitrotting. What do I have to do to help you?

Hi,

I am thinking of removing the Spatial Viewer from GWorkspace.

It was added after a discussion on the mailing list long ago, it was a popular opinion.

However I think it doesn't fit the NeXT paradigm well at all, I never use it and it adds code in GWorkspace that needs to be kept from bitrotting.

Does anybody use it? Or otherwise feel good about it? Stand up and speak your defense!
