Hi Ingolf,

from the back trace I cannot see that this problem s cairo related.
What I can see is that the method NSTableView drawRect: seems to compute a 
rather unrealistic row index (Or you get a lot more mail than me).
This looks like a bug in rowAtPoint: or in the way we don't test the result of 
-1 in drawRect:. What is surprising is that this issue should only pop up for 
the cairo backend. Do you have any idea on this?

Sorry, I am at the moment not able to fix this as I am sitting our table a the 
FOSDEM.
