Hm, so what? Thats why I wrote "most" and "Linux" ;-)
I just want to make sure not to cause confusion and just assume that /etc/ld.so.conf.d exists to all modern linuxes! Of sources Slackware is not what one would call modern, but there a lot of other distro based on it, and a lot of people using it, like me, sometimes. :)
