Hi,

After a year and a half of development, I'm glad to announce the second =
pre-release of Pantomime 1.2.0.

Pantomime is a complete and free mail framework working on both GNUstep =
and Apple Mac OS X. Pantomime is licensed under the LGPL and used by doz=
ens of applications.

Here is a small list of what has changed since the first pre-release of =
Pantomime:

o TLS support for all protocols
o IMAP reconnection code and "fast folder switching" support
o Fully ported the application to Microsoft Windows
  (using GNUstep on MinGW)
o Improved the documentation and the examples
o Lots of other features, bug fixes, major refactorings
  and speed improvements.

The next pre-release will include among other things:

o New local cache subsystem that will be much more
robust and faster than the current one
o An asynchronous DNS resolver
o Other cool but secret stuff ;)

I would like to thank all the people who helped me getting this release =
done. The list is very long but I would like to mention a few names such=
as Matt Bendiksen, Konstantin B. Bukharov, Jon C. Thomason and Lorenz M=
=F6senlechner.

Contributions, feedback, comments are always welcome!

Thanks a lot,
       Ludovic
