OK, so you will be writing a framebuffer display server to use with the
cairo graphics backend. Nice approach, but what is the chopping and
putting back together bit all about? Did you write this just for the
sound of it or is there any real plan behind this?
The cairo backend would need some fixing just as it stands, are you
planing to do any of this?


I have not done much work on cairo back before and i dont know the
backend very well. testing the backend piece by piece and asking on
this list is the only way for me to find out what they do.

things i hate about my linux pc:

1. it takes more than a second to boot up
2. keeps asking about filenames and directories
3. does not remember what i was working on yesterday
4. does not remember all the changes i have ever made
5.cannot figure out necessary settings by itself
