Voting is only one form of "democracy". It is pushed when
the majority cannot or doesn't want to address concerns of
minorities. This is often called "tyranny of the majority"
or "dictatorship of the majority" if anyone wants to look it
up instead of just taking offence. If anyone is offended by
the name, perhaps they should rethink their actions!
Voting in a winner-takes-all way is also known as a division,
for good reason. There seems very little reason to divide the
GNUstep community by moving from one inadequate version control
system to another, yet that is being pushed very hard by some.
There are times when "there can be only one". This isn't one of them.
Reject the idea that "some kind of voting needs to take place" to
decide this matter.
