Hi,

Is it possible to have GNUstep runtime installed on an USB key or a CD (any
read-only medium) where one just launches an application? If yes, what should I
pass to configure and to makefile to have that? And what files will be created
during application run?

I have not received any response regarding this. Is that possible or
not?

Besides specialised application it can be used for fast prototyping
demonstration mentioned in another thread: GNUstep + Gorm + StepTalk +
other stuff = ready GNUstep playground/demo on an USB key/CD. Advantage
of this, compared to the Live CD, is that one does not have to reboot.

I don't see why not, at least in theory. The places where you may run into issues are libobjc and ffcall/ffi, I'd guess.
