grmmrrbbll..

now I have a n extremely simple sample which shows that 'gnustep-base.dll' failed to load in the debugger (through LoadLibrary), while:
1. other library work
2. it succeed on the command line.

There is only one hope now... I'm going to bug report to Microsoft..

well, there is absolutely a gnustep-base.dll in the path I setup!

I'm sure there is. Otherwise it wouldn't work in the command line version. What I was wondering was if there was *another* gnustep-base.dll on the machine.
Perhaps somewhere VS would find it.

speaking about stepping through the load, I know there is a (loaded) module window, but for some reason I can't find it.
do you know where it is?

Yes, I believe I do.

Look in the menu heirarchy; Debug->Windows->Modules or something similar.
