I'm experiencing the same problem.

Using the installer on a WinXP SP1 with precompiled binaries, on a FAT32 
filesystem.

When trying any app, gndc complains...

Any pointers?

BTW: Some apps are able to show a dialog with an exception. This is my 
first time seeing gui on windows, so I'm more than happy with just that. :)
