Hello,

do you know a version of gcc that would manage to compile without troubles GNUstep on Linux, on PowerPC ?

With the 3.4.x versions I tried, I get an ICE (there is a workaround which consists of specifying extra options to gcc, that I used 1 year ago, but I can't remember it) ; and with the last 4.0.0 version I tried, there is another problem already in the configure step (because gcc-4.0.0 can't link properly an Objective-C program that has a .c extension).

3.3.x (like 3.3.5) versions works well, for 3.4.x versions may be it is related to http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11572
… otherwise why not replace the .c extension by .m ?

Quentin.
