I have been a Mac user for many years and, when I wrote this, I've instinctively thought to the "info" window of the Mac. Now I've moved all the stuff to Inspector.
Yes, I think a more natural place for the annotation to live is in the Inspector. A column for it in the "List View" would be nice too.
