And you can still do that.   It's just a matter of where and how it's
implemented, that's all.   I think you know that I would rather it were
implemented as a theme (I've explained the distinction before between a theme
and the built-in look).

No, I think you should stay here.   You're ideas are good, but as I said, it's
just a matter of where we put them :)
