I agree that I wouldn't expect an uncaught exception
to continue from the place where the exception is
raised.

and that I expect it to abort the current operation
but continue running the runloop, and not return to
the caller that threw the exception.

I think this is a missing option how this is added
compile time configuration of the ignore button, or a 
whole new button I really don't have any opinion
