Its the Plan9 shell. Very nice, but nothing like your normal Unix shell.
Had a colleague who used it on his NeXT and swore by it. Indeed he left
NeXT development and moved to Plan9 development as a career in the end.

Would not have thought an 'rc' port of the scripts would be hard though.
