You don't need a special subclass for this NSBitmapImageRep will handle 
it for you. The last publish release of GNUstep GUI still needs the 
wraster library to be compiled with the backend to do so, but the CVS 
version already uses libjpeg directly. SO either make sure that you have 
wrater installed or get GNUstep from CVS and everything should work.
