If you don't use any GNUstep extensions, you could simply install 
gnustep-make on MacOSX and use that to make StepTalk. Otherwise you 
would also need gnustep-baseadd (configure and install gnustep-base 
package).

Another option is to get someone to make a PB project for StepTalk
